Staffordshire is such an interesting county – there are literally hundreds of small rural villages a stones’ throw from the motorway, and the county is surprisingly rural and unspoilt.

One such village is Haughton, with a traditional post-war village hall, the chosen setting for the wedding reception of Matthew and his Bride Fallon. Another small gathering, Hard to Handle were chosen to bring the musical festivities, and suffice to say, we did not disappoint!

The musical tastes of bride and groom were a little alternative to the norm, with the first dance being a song by Placebo. We love unusual first dance requests and set about learning the song, and if you don’t mind us saying so, it sounded great when played live.

Matthew, Fallon and guests also enjoyed it, and every other song we played too. Matt texted us to say:

“just wanted to say a massive thanks to the whole band for Saturday night. You guys were brilliant and everyone was saying what a great band you were!”
