2016 looks like being our busiest year so far!
In June alone we have played for international delegates of a water aid charity at Cambridge University, and brides and grooms at a converted barn complete with corrugated roof in Cheltenham, a boutique hotel in Winchester, and a solar powered village hall in Worcestershire.
We have performed for student dental nurses at Bristol aquarium, young farmers in a thatched roof barn in Hampshire, on a campsite at the foot of the Black Mountains in Herefordshire, at a 70th birthday party in Cambridge, and a wedding anniversary in a converted Victorian stately home in Warwickshire.
We also performed at a safari park in Sussex, and a third repeat booking for a family in Leicestershire; all wedding receptions.
And finally – we also performed at a wedding reception in a Chateau in Poitiers, France. Nice work if you can get it! At many of the wedding receptions, we have learnt first dances specifically requested by the bride a groom, often knowing that because the songs mean something to the wedding couple, it’s unlikely that they’ll be requested again.
Whereas some bands may not be keen on having to learn a “one off” song, it’s just one example of Hard to Handle band going the extra mile to ensure that clients are happy with the service we provide.
If we had to pass on one piece of advice to anyone looking to hire a professional live band for their wedding reception, party or other function, we would say “don’t leave it too late!”
Literally every week throughout summer and beyond we regretfully have to inform people that we are already booked for the date they are making the enquiry about.
Because we’re so popular, we’re often booked a year or more in advance. So to avoid disappointment, contact us direct on 0796 433 5657. We look forward to hearing from you!
